A durable, heat-resistant, solvent-proof laboratory stretch film. Microwave compatible, withstanding temperatures up to 100 degree C (boiling water). Resists esssentially all solvents and caustic agents. Resists tearing and can stretch 500-800% before breaking or tearing. Film can cling to itself following stretching and forms an airtight barrier.

The product is a 0.013 inch thick carbon steel sheet. It is made from low carbon steel and has moderate strength and formability. The sheet has an as-rolled finish and meets ASTM A1008 specifications. It comes in 4 foot by 8 foot sheets. The carbon content is 0.04-0.15% and it has a Rockwell B hardness of 55-75. The yield strength is 25,000-40,000 psi. It is commonly used for light duty parts, brackets, stands, and enclosures. This is a versatile, economical sheet for general fabrication and construction.
